The Meerkat 50 is the worlds largest selling 50cc Atv. Its huge popularity is attributed to its unique size, which makes it much sort after for the younger kiddys. Other features such as a very Quiet 4 stroke engine, very similar to Honda’s Z50, utilising a fully automatic transmission, make this a very safe Atv to teach young kids. The Meerkat Sport comes with a wireless remote control kill switch which allows the parent to turn the engine off from as far away as 100 metres, a useful tool for when either the kids are heading out of control for the back fence, or they have just spat the dummy and have to go to bed. Speed reduction is also achieved through a throttle limiting device at the thumb throttle giving the parent even more control over how fast they want their child to go, in fact slower than walking pace if desired.
